I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt
of your despatch No. 906 of the 14th December 1938, and
to convey to you my approval of supplementary expenditure
of $50,000 under Head 29, Charitable Services, of the
Estimates for 1938, to provide for the payment of further
expenses incurred by the Tung Wah Hospital in respect of
refugee repatriation and relief, subject to the approval
of the Legislative Council also being obtained.
